Cashews Bechamel Sauce

 

Yield:  about 2 cups

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups cashews soaked for 2 hours

  • 1 cup water 

  • 1 Teaspoon asafetida

  • 1Teaspoon nutmeg freshly grated

  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place soaked cashews in the bowl of a blender with the all the other ingredients. Puree until very, very smooth.
